Quieter Sunday night might account for the overall rating. Jammed into a corner table when plenty of other room available. The bar is really cool and large. Good menu of local and other drafts. Probably not known for its food (other than pizza maybe). Truth be told we really didn’t want to go to other local Italian restaurants and pay pretty high prices so we chose Fat Tony (that name is great BTW). Lasagna wasn’t tasty, probably the sauce. Was pretty mid if I’m honest. Portion was the right size, but it wasn’t all that great. Caesar salad was pretty large but was pretty garlicky. Gnocchi dough wasn’t really cooked. Very doughy.

Well where to begin. The restaurant itself was nice, if you were just coming to sit at the bar this is a nice place. We were craving some Italian so after looking at a few places we ended up here. I got a house Pino Noir and my husband got the berry jam cider. They were overall good, it did feel like we waited a little for the drinks and the restaurant and bar as a whole wasnt busy. We ordered the Bruschetta and it was nice! Refreshing on these hot summer days. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and my husband got the Meatball Sundae as his main. Sadly nothing tasted authentic. I'm not sure what constitutes "home made" but it tasted as if it were from a jar and the meatballs lacked flavor. The chicken Alfredo was right there with it. The sauce was not "home made" quality and the chicken resembled that of the Perdue chicken, pre-cooked in the bags you can get at the grocery stores. As hungry travelers we ate, and maybe for the price its worth it, but I would not market the menu items with details of home made if you're not truly making these sauces from scratch.

We ordered the bruschetta they crushed it! I had an amazing Greek salad and added grilled chicken but ran out of chicken quickly. Definitely think it could’ve used more chicken.

Fat Tony's was amazing! Went for a birthday celebration ~ from the view and atmosphere to the delicous drinks and food, everything was top notch. The server Kendall made the experience with her upbeat attention to our table just when needed. Definitely will return and telling everyone to go and enjoy. THANK YOU to the entire team!

As a local over the years I have visited this restaurant many times and haven’t had any issues until today when I came in with my family mind you it was a large group and they went to take us to a table but the bartender stopped our group and said the owner just called him and told them to “shut it down” and told us we couldn’t be waited on because the pizza oven was broke apparently. Then we proceeded to see if we could still order drinks at the bar and the bartender was hesitant to serve my party and demanded that we only order through him and not the waitress who never finish taking us to a table. Assuming that we just wanted pizza?? I am disgusted at this behavior from the staff!!! As I was waiting for my drinks from the bar it’s funny how 2 sets of customers ordered pizza and got served!! I asked the bartender how they were able to order said pizza and he said “the gas line is running slow so we are getting out the backed up orders but I didn’t want yall to have to wait”….so you changed your story?? Disgusting. Pictured are pizza and food being taken out after they refused to serve us. Yes I felt this was an act of racism. Still no response on this review from anyone??
